Research Program Overview:​

​​I investigate how inventors create and commercialize new products and technologies. My research addresses four main problems associated with managing innovation globally across organizational boundaries and national borders: 

(1) protecting intellectual property from imitation by rivals;

(2) selecting strategic partners;

(3) overcoming technical and language barriers; and 

(4) discovering and exploiting new entrepreneurial opportunities.

Industry Expertise:​

I have expertise in developing and introducing new audio software and hardware products for use in wired and wireless voice communications applications, devices, and network equipment.  I have 13 years of experience working in the telecommunications, electronics, software, and semiconductor industries.
